    Post Alarm randomly going off...

Since having taken my car to the garage to have the wheel bearing fixed. the alarm randomly goes off! I tried to reset it by taking the battery off and this hasn't really helped.

Tonight I checked all of the points, bonnet, boot and doors. They're all reacting fine and the LED knows when they're not shut properly. So, I got the manual out and pushed the fuses around thinking it might be a loose connection.

Anyone else have/had a similar problem? If so, how did you deal with it? Auto electrician or Vauxhall?

Thanks. I didn't know you had to access it via the wheel arch! I've had the wheel off a moment ago and had the unit out. I cleaned the area and connection and re tapped it back up! Going to have to look into buying a new one in the near future but i'm hoping this will do for now.

I took the wheel off that night and looked at the power sounder. The tape around the connection was wet. So I removed the tape, dried the connector and put new duck tape around it, cleaned the area and put it back in.

At the moment I haven't had any probs. Still waiting to see, but it's been 3 days.

    Thanks guys
