HELP: Loss of power, Pull, Speed etc....

Well today got in my car like every other day, started it up and pulled off, seemed to have hrdly any power then usual, even when really putting your foot down aceleration was minimal, lets say 20 seconds to get to 40mph!!

    Now what could this be??

im sure ive read it can be sign of the cambelt about to go, is this true?

or what else could it be?

    any help appreciated thanks!

    Joe

could be anything..... get urself under the bonnet and have a good nosey around - make sure all fluids are correct (I have this but mine is due to a blown head gasket) - check the exhaust from front to back for any signs of leakage etc

what year/mileage is it ? and whats the history like? has the belt been changed?
