    Removing standard stereo

I'm looking to fit my new head unit tomorrow all going to plan.

The only thing I am wondering is are there any special tools I require to get the standard astra stereo out if so what? or alternatively what makes a good substitute if I cant get my hands on these tools?

    Cheers

yes, your going to need vauxhll din removing tools look a little like "u", halfrauds will sell you a set for less than a fiver (recommended). Or do it on the cheep using a old metal coat hanger or a piece or brazing rod and bend it into shape. Also a set of allen keys are required to get the grub screws out the holes.

You will also need a T20 screwdriver to remove a screw from the rear of the cage
