    Air/Fuel Ratio gauge?

Hi guys, have any of you fitted and AFR gauge? i have one fitted and wired in, but its not reading right so i have screwed up somewhere

i have wired into the oxygen sensor closest to the turbo, should i wire it into the 2nd sensor near the cat? Also a mate did the wiring, he was reading the wiring diagram right as far as i know..but if anone can point out the exact signal wire i need that would really help

If anyone has a gauge can you please let me know how you wired it in? i bought a really great gauge(autometer lunar series, to match the boost gauge..), i just wanna get it working

You have it connected to the correct lambda, mine is wired to pin no 4.

Pin's 1&2 power the heating element, pin 3 is the low output and pin 4 the high.

If your gauge is only just registering then I guess you have it on pin 3 and it needs to be changed to pin 4. If it's not registering at all then it's possible you have it on pins 1 or 2 which will not be good.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!

Are you sure you bought the correct gauge? There are two types, one for narrow band sensors and the other for wide band sensors. You need a gauge to read narrow band sensor output. Did you get this type? Use the first sensor as the second will show a leaner misture as the cat will obviously have an affect.

thanks mike, will have to check on that one, and thanks K3fus, sounds like its on the wrong wire!

all i know about the gauge at the moment is "that it works with almost all factory oxygen sensors"..as far as i know most factory sensors are narrow band??

Correct. Check wiring then as K3FUS says.
