    Unhappy Juddering

    Hi,

I put alloys on the car over the weekend and the car has since developed a bit of a judder. It's the usual thing whereby you hit a certain speed and it comes, go faster and it stops.

I've had the balance checked on the wheels again, and it's still doing it.
A friend has suggested it might be a small buckle in the front left wheel or possibly the track rod ends.

anyone give any more suggestions or second his before I get it up on the ramps and have stuff checked out?

    Cheers

I would have thought id the wheel was buckled, it would judder in relation to your speed. Beens as you say its only at a certain speed i would still say its your balancing. Try taking it to a different garage with a different machine. See if that helps. My balancing was out on my gsi used to come in at 70-80. All sorted now tho.

Turns out the rear offside wheel has a flat spot.

Taking it to AutoImage in Edinburgh tomorrow to see if they can sort it. Fingers crossed!

    Update:

The wheel did have a flat spot. It's also completely and utterly warped beyond any kind of repair.

So i've ordered a new one. What a shit :/

aint gonna turn this into a slagging match though. Not sure when the damage was done.
