    Rev drop

Hey I've only just noticed it, but occasionally when I drop my clutch etc. to brake the rpm goes to around 500 and the headlights and interior lights fade for a second, the car shudders slightly like its about to stall, then the revs come back up and everything is normal.

I was wondering what this is, is it the battery, is it serious?

    Thanks

You need your Idle Control Valve cleaned. Probably the throttle butterfly as well would be a good plan. A search should reveal all.

Throttle butterfly and idle control valve are the same thing on the X18XE1 but as ZS suggests, it needs cleaning.
