    brake noice

    i just had my front pads done on my car and now im noticing a loud squeeking noice coming fro, them could this be because there new and need to be beded in???
    astra sxi 5 door (family car) front spliter,leximall back box,new stuff cuming colour coded irmy grille and new smoked headlights!!

    no they shouldnt do it what make of pads did you have fitted

    just standard ones out of my local vauxhall dealership!! any idea wat could have cause this the guy that fitted is a good mechanic so i can see there being a problem with the fitting

    I'm in aexactly the same boat. New pads and disks and they make far too much noise for my liking :-(

    a) did they use copper grease when fitting them
    b) if they did then try taking the pads out and filing a 45 degree angle all round the edge.
