    sunstrip opinions

    hi all, just wanting some opinions on sun strips, generally i dont like them, but since i got my astra convertible, the sun visors are uselss so i am pondering the idea of getting a tinted strip, do they look ok or just daft?

    Some can look ok I think, but others can look rather daft. I guess it depends which one you get, I don't know much about them so I can't really help you.

    I just have a plain black sunstrip, I love having one. many people don't even notice its there till they get in the car, however as yours is a convertible yours would look odd when the roof was down if yours was plain black like mine.

    Tinted i think would be fine on yours

    i have a tinted strip. not even noticable really. no one has ever commented on it or pointed it out.

    I have a tinted one, on accounts of me being on the short side and finding that the visors don't quite do the job for me

    Graduated sunstrip tint is useful, it's not so noticeable. It used to be standard on ALL Vauxhalls with tinted glass!

    go to any sign makers and they will design the one you want but just remember if you windscreeen wipers go over it then its am MOT failure whats gay have fun and good luck

    my wipers went over my old sunstrip on my pug. i was under the impression that a sunstrip couldnt cover more than 20% of the windscreen as some cars wipers come higher than others.
