Few work in progress pictures from the last week.

Found these on the camera thought Id let you see what we;ve been upto this week.

First off the van went in last week to have its new clutch fitted, rather than stick a standard one in a LUK clutch and Courtenay flywheel went in. Thankfully I wasnt able to do any of this as its under warranty, which Im quite glad of as with the van having a cable operated clutch there werent that much room:

Next up Omigod 2 was in for a few bits, it was meant to have spark plugs but seeing as Ive mislaid them somewhere they will have to get done this weel at some point, so it had a Courtenay panel filter fitted and also a minor adjustment made to the door, as the door had dropped (thinkl its been in a bump at some point and had a new door thats never been aligned properly):

Next it was Turbodaves Ovlov;s turn, after having a good going over a week or so before it was back in for a few minor bits, the main thing being a dump valve. The previous owner had ran an aftermarket dump valve on it, removed it but never bothered setting the standard DV back up so the car was running without one (gotta love cars owned by "enthusiasts"). So Daves Cavalier Turbo was robbed of its Bailey DV:

Next up dave stuck his Picasso hat on, again the previous owner had been on the case and painted the engine plastics a lovely shade of Orange.....mind boggles, so off they came and out came the hammerite:

    The end result:

Turbodave;s phrase for the night: "its just a big valver Dov".

Hopefully the next few days should be a bit busier as theres a fair few bits sitting to get done.

Looks Good, Didnt Know the Engine was Mounted the Other Way!

The Engine cover on the Ovlov look much better now!

Edit: Just Read it Again Properly its not in the Van, Ignore that Comment!
THE STATEMENTS MADE ABOVE ARE MERELY MY OPINION AND SHOULD NOT BE INTERPRETED AS STATEMENTS OF FACT UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED

Looks like you need to wire brush and paint the edges of your front brake discs - they are well rusty!!

Has the van been sitting outside unused??

You will find the edges of near enough all brake discs will rust unless painted, nothing to do with sitting out etc. they arent like the disc faces that are constantly kept shiny due to the brake pads etc. they arent that rusty its very light surface corrosion pictures make it look worse than it is, they wont be there much longer anyway.
