    ECU Reader problems

    i have the reader
    i have the laptop
    i have a car with problems

    So i have hooked it up to the car via laptop and it wont read my ecu it wont connect but i have seen it connect to someone elses astra today on another laptop too. problem is in mine the light on the reader itself blips on the off, apparently it should stay on.

    so i have wiggled it pushed it u name it ive tried so it must be a problem with the ecu imo as the laptop isnt at fault nor i the cable nor is the programe

    so my question is, is my ecu the problem,ie a fuse blown in it?

    Or anything else i should be looking at as i need the reader to work so i can find out what my problemis

    If you think the ECU is duff you will have to bite the bullet a get Vauxhall to Tech 2 it.

    Or get another labtop to try on yours
