    Follow jam On Twitter
Go for one thats close but not one that you've never heard of. i know your up north but Courtenay or Thorney will do a good job. Probably looking at £250ish (upwards) and about 15bhp.

Check out www.regal-shop.co.uk for more ideas. Performance manifold perhaps? Performance exhaust? performance inlet manifold? Remap and then turbo.
    Its a jam thing

Check out any of these too - http://www.m1gst.com/vb/showthread.php?t=81516

Regal might be a bit of a Trek for you up in Scotland

As for power - it all depends on how much you want to spend

Right I'm going to have to do a bit of hijacking here!

I'm seriously thinking for saving for a while to do a few internal mod's. I've been looking at regal and there throttle body upgrade, and I was wondering what work is involved and if there is anything else I need to know.

This is what they are offering on regal:

    Performance Pack 4 Astra G 1.6/1.8/2.0
Gains of over 30 bhp from Standard.

The Ultimate Performance Package, Includes the Fitment of Dbilas Throttle Bodies.

    -Simple Self Fit (3 hours)
-Retains OE Air Mass Meter and wiring and ECU to retain all OBD diagnosis
    -4 x 45mm Throttles (one per cylinder)
-Retains a smooth clean idle, even with large cams
    -Full RPM control load adjustment
    -Good Economy
    -Good Cold Starting
-Meets all E2 Emissions standards and MOT/TUV approved

-For further power, largerinjectors, cams and ECU modifications are also available on
    request.

Also if you do change to throttle bodies can you still change the inlet manifold to an uprated one? or are the throttle bodies part of the inlet manifold? or do you get one with the package?

    like this one:

Dblias X18XE1 Flowtec Manifold System - Astra G
The Flowtec Manifold System uses the air oscillations produced by naturally aspirated engine intake flow into the cylinders to produce a boosting effect on the intake charge. This improves the cylinder filling speed on lower and upper engine revs, resulting in a very even torque curve.

I'm still trying to get my head around how all these parts work so any advice/info on other parts (larger injectors/cam shafts) that I may need would be helpful.

Sorry about this turning into a bit of an essay!
