    silly question,but u know,lol

    as a last resort is it ok 2 use normal washing up liquid 2 wash car,as ran out of car wash and cant be bother 2 drive 10miles to get some.
    probs a daft idea,but thought ask anyway

    It will strip all your wax off and leave it really dull. I wouldn't go near it myself. You are best off leaving it dirty until you get hold of some proper car shampoo.

    pontypool isn't 10 miles away? and you've got a tesco not far? all washing up liquids contain salt, they are saline.

    ponty is bout 10miles. tescos didnt have any,i wanted halfrauds stuff as is by far best i come across and had gd reviews too. so i think abergavenny was nearest halfrauds 10miles

    but jetwashed,waxed and then p155ed down as per usual,lol

    dont use washing up liquid as i think it is sand based and will not help your look of your car been there done it and i had to polish my car a few times to get it looking nice again

    I always use it when on a detailing mission. Wash with it first to strip all polish wax etc off. Then wash with proper stuff. Then hydrate the rubbers cos causes them to dry if left to long.
