    RON rating on fuel

i saw stuff in the car shop that makes normal petrol the same rating as optimax when you mix it with a tank of fuel, would it work if you mixed it with optimax and give you about 99RON or 100RON and would it make a differnce.. maybe a stupid question but just not sure,,

Can't buy optimax anymore its Vpower which is already 99ron...

Thats all you'd need for our turbo cars, but the fuel additive is for some import jap cars which are tuned on 100+ ron fuel and have trouble running over here.

thats why i wondered if you could use the fuel adidtive with V-power to make it about the same and wondered if it would be safe to run,

Ideally you should always run a turbo car on the good stuff.... You will get more MPG and a happier engine.

what u class as gd stuff. as trials have found that tescos 99ron is as gd as the others, that was against optimax and ultima, dunno about vpower tbh.
i would have thought 99 ron is prferable but i would have thought normal super 97 would be ok?????

but i do agree the 99ron gives u more mpg for sure

Yeah i'd either go for the Tesco 99 ron or V power.... I always fill up with V power because Shell Garages are local to my work or home and if im on a long trip I look out for them. I like to keep the same fuel in mine so the ECU is adjusted to that fuel rather than it keep adjusting itself and not being at optimal inition timing etc so try to choose a fuel and keep to it...
