    ecotek valve

    hello all,

you not going believe me but i think these thing's work, after fitting my 2 1/2 inch bore exhaust i have noticed my fuel economy down side a bit so i looked into mods that help with fuel economy and i seen one of these valves on ebay new with pipercross filter for £35 to my door and thought for that price why not give one a go. I fitted it and tuned it like on there web site and have noticed so far the fuel needle moving a lot slower then normal as for performance not a big difference but i will say below 2000rpm it seem to have a bit more pull and feels alot more smoother. The noise it make is a bit poo but you cant have every think.

so it gets the thumb's up from me good mod for the cash

the noise is like a fan belt sliping on an old nova, but it only make's it on over run so you cant hear it when you have your foot on the throttle, it's not that loud to be fair if you have a after market exhaust it over power's the sound.

yea i have turned it down a bit since first tuning it and i seem to be getting good results now. Pick up below 2000rpm is defo better, and the fuel economy is loads better i put £15 in on the red i have done nearly 60mile out and about town and i have still got quarter of a tank left.
thats good results in my eye's.

Glad you got results with yours.

I had one on mine and didnt like it. The noise was annoying and it kept making my emissions light come on. so i removed mine.
