*** We need your input please ***

We are getting growing numbers of calls to separate the forum more to incorporate the different Mk's of Astra's.

Now we can do this in one of two ways, in our opinion but any other ideas always welcome

    1. Separate Astra Discussion into per Mk of Astra

    2. Separate the modification/technical section into per mk

Now we have always been pro keeping the discussion together but as the site is so large now its getting harder to search for things and information is getting missed/lost, so this means a lot of similar questions and a lot of other questions being missed.

    How would you do it?
    What would like to see?
Which would work better for you and why?

As always this is your club give us your thoughts

Thanks for taking the time to reply,

    The Astra Sport Team.

I think if we break down the Astra/Zafira Mk's it would be easier to find more specific information.

Divide the tech sections definitely. Theyre the only things that differ radically on this forum, vauxhalls/astras are a common interest no matter what mk they are.

would be easier to search if the mk's were split i personaly would try to keep engine sizes together as much as poss as we all can help each other out as you will find that we will just go to the forum that we have the engine etc to and not help each other out

just my opinion, but id keep astra chat as it is, because you would begin to alianate those people with lets say a mk2 or 3 (as most of us have a mk4 or 5 now), that part of the forum would be very quite, as for the tech section you could maybe seperate that

hmm, i dont like change... i say stick as it is... if it does change i think keep astra chat the same as it is now its more eye opening when you see things regardless of mark of astra in there.

too many tech sections will be a mistake, people can use the search button, maybe you could incorporate some kind of tag when posting a tech article with what mk it is, then when someone search they can search mk1, mk2, mk3, etc or all.
