    Knocking/Clunking noise from the rear

Over the last few days ive noticed that my steering wheel has ever so slightly started to vibrate then last night every single bump I went over in the road made a knocking/clunking sound from the o/s/r. It sounds asif im going over a grid every time this happens, doesnt matter weather the wheels are straight or turned. Its for a astra g.
    Any ideas? Many thanks

Check your springs are seated correctly and better still not snapped...
Also check the tightness of the shock.

    Thats wear I would start.

Been and had a look and as far as I can tell everything is fine.
    What else could it be?
Obviously it depends on the problem but should the car still be used? Ive got a 50 mile round trip tomorrow morning which I dont fancy walking
