    Astra Head Lights Protectors

Has any one got them on their car, They are a sort of carbon fibre look.?

If so have you any pictures on the way they fit.

Thinking about going to Vauxhall and ordering some, Cant find any on LMF or any other site.

    Thanks Lee

I've got the headlight protectors, fitted to my Astra G when new (2000) as part of the "Protection Pack". They're just clear acrylic.

They smooth the airflow onto the bonnet as without them the bonnet stands a little proud of the glass, but they do stick out a bit outside the indicator part of the lamp.

The road dirt builds up quickly between the protector and headlight lens, I think the headlights would stay cleaner without the protectors.

Wouldn't that therefore make them illegal to use with factory fitted hids?

Don't see why. As an aside my Astra has headlamp pressure washers as well as the protectors so the front of the protector is always clean so perhaps the dirt buildup in between is just more noticeable.
