    Swimming Pool

Hi guys, got a problem with some water. We had a lot of rain recently and i found a fair bit of it in my drivers side footwell. Could my gutters be blocked or have I got a hole somewhere?

What do you think I shold look for first and anyone know how i can sort it out?

    Cheers, Brian

One easy thing to check is your door seal...if it's not fitting properly it can lead to puddles.

Doors all seem to be nice and snug. I got some wire in the drain holes in the sunroof and it seemed to go through fine.

Still not sure where the water is coming in?

Looks like the good old hosepipe test is required, lay across the seats with a good torch and get a mate to squirt it all over, sunroof, windscreen window, wing, scuttle while you watch for drips etc, especially up behind dash etc.
Do you have mudflaps on the front ?
If so take them off and look behind the wheel arch cover trim at the back to see if it's full of muck, leaves etc, preventing the water from draining out underneath the car.
Even if you don't have mudflaps worth looking anyway

I have no mudflaps and sometimes have to use the car for work. I do delivering in it and have to go to some in the middle of knowhere places. Havent cleaned her up for a while now so is a bit dirty all over.

You think i might have blocked something up? Where shall I clear up?

Check your scuttle ( underneath the plastic trim below the windscreen ) for leaves and muck blocking drain holes
Have a look behind the wheel arch trim at the rear of the front wheel arch, it may well require removal of fixings so that you can pull the trim out at the bottom to check for muck build up behind it which prevents water from draining out
Try these two first then use the hosepipe check
