    Replacing/Fixing a broken key

I'm just bought a 1999 T Astra, which has a little quirk on both the keys.

When you remove them from the ignition, the blade, and the 'u' shaped bit of plastic remain in the lock, as the tab which holds the key together is broken.

If I get a key from ebay, how easy is it to change over the blade and the immobiliser chip. Is there any better (cheap) way of doing it?

The immobiliser chip would probably be easy to swap over but I don't believe you could get the blade out
