    Actuators

Am thinking mine is becoming quite weak now with age (94k) so am in the market for a new one.

Courtenay have them for about £65 - would it be better to get an uprated one or just a standard one? The OB on the current set up goes to about 22-24 psi. Not sure on bhp or torque although it has been mapped.

    Any other suggestions?

Vxr one is no good for that kind of pressure. Regal also do an uprated one - not sure of the price though.

Courtenay seem to be £65 and Regal are £150!! I suppose they are both closed for th festivities?!

This is my final straw before committing to a new remap from Wallace at the RR day in January so would rather have it foxed for £65 than for £400 plus £65 anyway because I possibly have a knacked actuator.

In my opinion, the Courtenay actuator with EDS Phase 3 software made the car really jerky, driving on part throttle was a nightmare.

When I put the Stock VXR actuator back on it was smooth as silk, it didnt overboost so high, but it had nowhere near the same amount of preload on.

Depending on what you are after, I suggest in the majority of cases a VXR actuator would do the job you want
