Connecting an mp3 player to CD30 headunit Q

Apologies if this has been done before, I couldn't find anything on it

I recently bought an Astra SXi Mk5, and want to connect my Sony Walkman NW-A300 mp3 player to the CD30 headunit. I don't want to bother with an FM transmitter as I've read so many bad reviews about them, so was wondering if there is a cable I can buy to directly connect the Walkman to the back of the headunit? I'm not knowlegeable on electrical wiring so don't want to faff about with bodging something up if possible!

Is this http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/blau...lead-p-77.html what I need by any chance??!

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome,

No I;m afraid you cannot use any 'aux in' type lead. that one is for aftermarket blaupunkt HU's.

FM transmitter only at the moment....although the new range of CD30s will have an aux in..(on facelift astras)
