    rear bumper bracket

I have recently fitted some larger alloys to my car. I am experiencing some issues with catching., so far i have trimmed some of the rear arch liner and have revealed the bumper bracket

the bracket is the problem this is where it catches slightly. can this be trimmed? can it be removed (i.e is it majorly important), Any suggestions as to what i could do to sort the problem is a help so fire away

recentley done a search and it appears i can trim the braacket. So anyone have any picture or roughly how much i can cut away withouth ruining the bumper bracket (i.e bumper falling off maybe)

    Any help appreciated

yeah, on the search theyve been mentioned but its also been noted that its easier to grind the exsisting one rather than fit the new irmscher one. So ill be grinding away just would prefer to know how far to go lol

with mine it was a trim and check job, just use an angle grinder to take away the excess metal and remove as much as you can but being carefull to not disturb the screw that holds the bumper on. It may take you a few tries but you will get there. Take some pics as you do it if you dont mind for a "how to"
