pre-cat,cat,middle box/centre pipe, back box. pretty sure thats how it goes but mine hasn't a pre-cat so could be wrong.

yep thats how it goes, your pre-cat + cat may all be one section. So best to upgrade both at the same time or check under your car before ordering one or the other.

Pre-cat is upgraded by removing it to a straight through pipe as it isn't needed for UK MOT's.

Cat can be upgraded to a 200 cell sports cat.

And the rest can be upgraded to any cat back system, plenty of makes to choose from, Miltek, Scorpion and blueflame for off the shelf type systems. Or a company like powerflow for a custom set-up.

Check the group buys for both precat + sport cat.

depends if your standard cats are separate or a one piece jobbie. If they are separate then yes you can just connect a new pre-cat to the existing cat. If they are all one piece you will either need to replace both at the same time or get the main cat cut from the pre-cat and have a flange joint welded on to it.
