    Nasp tuning 1.6 16v, has anyone yet?

    Ok has anyone actually tuuned the 1.6 16v engine in the astra yet? i have heard lots of people goin on about it but has anyone got anywhere with nasp tuning? i really am tempted to tune mine, just want to know if anyone has done before lol or if i will be the pioneer (doubt it)!!

    some on hear had a turbo 1.6 with 250bhp

    at the end of the day its all down to money
    with the astra g being a few years old not turbo cars are cheap an have from 187bhp to 200bhp as std so they are cheaper to start with an have better gear box brakes ect ect

    Yeah realise that its just fun to do it i guess. just wondered if anyone had either, throttle bodies,cam'ed, head work and etc.

    Some people have, tbh its just not worth the cost. I would mildly tune it, if you want mega power do a conversion or change cars

    It should be a good engine to tune, especially if it only has a map sensor (no afm), you can bolt on throttle bodies with a manifold from jenvey and the standard management should do the business.

    trouble is with the astra G 1600 its fly by wire making it a ball ache to get the throttle boddies to work ad standard ecu

    the early 1.6s are cable throttle.

    graft the motor onto the side of the throttle bodies? if youve got a set of bike bodies and a spare motorised body ill do it for you
