    Full system - Milltek

Ive just had my full system for my gsi turbo fitted from vauxhall. THe car sounds great but i didnt think it would have been as noisy. Its not over the top, just right. Im just looking to know if the rest of you who has a full milltek system thinks theirs is too quiet/loud?

Hmm, I went out yesterday with John Thorne in an 888 with a full Milltek. I hate noise, my ideal exhaust would be silent. Ticking over is as quiet as my standard exhaust, dual carriageway ~3-4k revs seemed no different. This was where it's important for me for it to be quiet. ANY boominess and it's no thank you.

All in all, my fears were allayed and the car booked in for it's Stage 4. Had the Milltek been 'noisy' in any way, shape or form I wouldn't have done this! I shall nervously watch this thread for other's comments!

my milltek was spot on. Nice tone at idle and slightly bubblier on acceleration. It wasnt too far away from the OE exhaust imo. Which apart from the performance advantages suited me to a T.

^^^What he said as I now own that car! It wasn't very noticable at all really, but now I've fitted the pre-cat de-cat it is a little more beefy - not loud - but nice sounding!! Spot on for me!

Ditching the pre-cat makes a big difference in the noise levels

I hate loud, but my miltek is at 4k - onwards if i toe it. Its also really deep on idle. But jsut driving normaly it sounds fine well you dont really notice it.

Altough i have no cat's just a straght though pipe and the miltex cat back system. and a few enigne mods lol.

I have a miltek and could not have asked for a better sounding exhaust. Nice and quite on idle/"normal" driving but a nice subtle roar to it when giving it some beans
