Xmas & Bad weather = Out of pocket

Some have heard the bad news already, but just to let everyone know... I Crashed the Gsi last monday night,

It was late and very wet and wild (resulting in 12 road closures in Stirlingshire) was heading home with my mate and my other mates g/f in the car, approached a roundabout and slid straight on into a wall, was only doing 20mph, most the damage is bodywork nothing mechanical suspension or structure wise, car is sittin in a mates friends recovery yard the now and i havent seen it since the crash (personally dont want too) but hopefully i'll have the car home soon,

Was supposed to be fittin my new OPC Grille on Christmas day aswell!!

Car's gettin soem other mods done while it's being repaired so hopefully it'll be back better than ever

    At the moment...

    Trip To Courtenay
Some new Wheels (wil keep swapping between them and the Oirignals)
    Lowered
    New Exhaust
    Turbo Timer
Alarm, Proxy Sensors, Remote start (for winter ),
more sounds and tidier boot install

few other plans i think apart from tarting up the bodywork (some bits i'm not happy with) Cars going to be off the road for a while and will be looking for a runaround in the meantime!

Not being funny but I think its more of a case of too much power, and very little experience of it. Dont take that the wrong way either Skipz.

Couldnt have been more carefull if i tried!!

I was tired and wanting to get home, i wasnt thrashignthe car about, the roundabout i slid off at has a habit of claiming cars, it's also right next to a petrol station people claim there's always diesel on it but i blame the bad weather and my shite tyres!

Byron.. no offence but how can a car have too much power when on the brakes slowing to take a roundabout in the pissing wet??

If you say so.....like I said, dont take offence.
Ive owned and driven some tasty and quick motors. Not once stacked any in any given weather scenario even when its been a 'spirited' drive

aye ran into my mate.. he didnt even brake in time for that one, it was just one of those things

this was totally my own fault,i misjudged the roundabout and slid straight on, its always like an ice rink in the winter no matter if it's icy or not!!
