    Question Silvia S15

    Hi All

Looking around for Ideas for a New Car, Fancied a DC5 Integra but was browsing an Import Site and Found the Nissan Silvia S15, Just wondering has anyone ever driven one or been a Passenger in one! What was it Like etc!

Specs seem good with a 2.0l Turbo Lump with a 0-60 of 5.5

Really Like the Look of em to

Everything on the Above Cars is Stock apart from the Rims!

    Cheers

I also looked in the integra but i just don't like the honda rev happy engine, well giving it such a thrashing to get anywhere. I looked ta these to but the one i looked at wasn't anywhere as nice at the one above and probably not quite as new, went quite well though and felt far more stable than a turbo astra, I decided to keep my trusty astra and got a supra as a project car, insurance was better too on a non import. and as they say theres no replacement for displacement. but as far as cars go the silvia is real nice
Used to own Astra Coupe 2.2, Supra 3.0 Turbo, Supra MK4

Agreed thats one of the things that put me off, waiting til 6,000 rpm for the V-tec to kick in!

The one above is the Spec-R (i think) and they latest one seem to be late 2001 early 2002 which is when nissan stopped producing them for the 350z

the honda vtec isn't the be all and end all of engines, alot of people like it some don't, I prefer 6 cylinder engines, some like a cracking turbo strapped on instead still that silvia is nice and you won;t find many about, whats servicing and parts like ?

S15's are nice, IF you can get insured on them, imports will be high $$$$

Havent Looked into Parts and Servicing Cost yet! Not sure if it would have to go to a specialist place or if any Nissan will do it/can get parts!

And if you Join www.SXOC.co.uk (Nissan SX owners Club) Adrian Flux give 20% discount!

They are all things which would need to be taken into consideration still looking into it at the min!
