    Will a mk4 hatch coilover kit fit a coupe'

    Am I right in assuming that it does, I've got my Eibach coilovers on Ebay and just wanted to be absolutely certain, there is also someone asking me this question on ebay,

    Should go straight on mate, however if the kit was designed for a hatch then the spring rates and damping force will be suited to the hatch!

    Spring rates and damping force are matched by front axle weight. The body style makes no difference, apart from estates / vans, because the rear axle weights are the same, for the same trim, regardless of body style.

    My koni's are off a coupe.

    the rear spring rates are different, but if its fully heght adjustable then it will make little differance.

    My ice compensates for the differance in axle weights. Making it more suitable imo for my car

    According to Eibach web site the coupe has a lighter rear axle load compared to the hatch.

    i have hatch springs on my coupe the opposite reason to brett.,.. yet to drive the car so can give an evaluationos or anything but there a straight fit and im loving the low slung look....
