    My New Air Filter

£15 brand new of E-Bay. The only thing is it has a 60mm neck so will need a 70mm-60mm 90 degree reducer so hopefully it will be ok for my turbo and it wont swollow it.

A smaller neck 60mm than your inlet 70mm means that you'll be strangling it a bit and without heat shielding you'll be drawing in hot air so you should see a substantial REDUCTION in power.

De-restricting the standard airbox gives a 65mm inlet and improvement for 1.6/1.8 non-turbos.

If you've got a 60mm inlet in the unpressured side, you're strangling it.
