just wanted to know if they were lighter than the standard parts mainly the wings im interested in changing and proberly front and back bumpers
im not to sure but they are never a good fit, and shatter really easily
The car in front is my astra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it depends on the thickness/quality of the layup - thin (crap) layup will be lighter, but decent quality will be about the same if not heavier
What about carbon fibre Reggie? Pricey, but deffo lighter.
Also you could drill holes in things, that would shift some weight! Obviously this one needs a certain amount of care! lol Maybe remove any sound deadening left on the panels, I seem to remember seeing a fair bit in your pics. Plexi Glass windows perhaps? Again very pricey though.
i know carbon fibre would be great but then the price would run into thousands etc and if i smashed it up would hurt...
all sound deadining gone now near enough at the ebar essentials whats the tar stuff on the floor can that come off?
yes was gonna get the angle grinder on many parts and drill through shit but so unsure has to what i can get away with
and has for the windows there a definate just need to find somewhere of make my own and rivet them in only want the back windows doing...
For what its worth, you may aswell keep the standard bumpers and vent them as you wont gain nothing from it
