    found this for you mark:

    "
If you want to check the clutch system, apply the parking brake, depress the clutch pedal and put the gear lever in 3rd gear. While increasing the engine RPMs, slowly let out the clutch pedal. If the engine shuts off it means your clutch plate is OK. Whereas, if the engine keeps running it means that the clutch system requires disassembly and parts replaced accordingly.

so with that im assuming yours has gone

you will knwo if its slipping as when it accelerate hard straigh after ching gear the revs will increase (on the rev counter) but the car will not go any faster but this will only happen for about a second and then the car will jurk and drive normally again.

    hope that helps

Sorta does that, seems to like "ungrip" and rev wildly, so I have to drop the revs to actually go anywhere. I was at the lights yesterday, and I got from 1000-4000 rpm in every gear and managed to go forwards about 5 meters, somewhat embarrasing.
