    satnav

    not sure if this should be here or electrical
    how hard is it to retrofit the factory satnav what will i need and any idea on costs
    just to make it more complicated is it posible to keep the average mpg, range and intant consumption ect

    Yep, be better trying to find some way of getting a sat nav unit to display the image onto an external screen then fit that into a standard sat nav console so it looks factory. That way could keep your H/U + maybe move your trip computer down to where the ash tray is.

    probly just get a tomtom will work out a damn site cheaper without the agro might consider it at a later date when ive got more money

    I have just retro fitted an ncdr1500 sat-nav in to an astra coupe, it still retains all the computer features, i had to change the dash loom, the full interior loom, the arial, i wouldnt recomend doing it to your everyday car, as you have to strip the full inside of the car out....

    im going to be doing a custom satnav install after xmas, getting most of bits for mine for xmas.

    i was planning to try and put a new road angel navigator into a center console... can someone tell me the exact dimensions of the screen hole? is it 5" squared or...?
