    Unhappy Kurbing...

    Hey all..

Twice in one day ive kurbed my alloys, and found out my mom kurbed one last night.
first time was very light... but about an hour ago i whacked the kurb full on... thought id cracked it for sure

I guess i'll need a new set of rims sooner than i thought...

ah well, these will last me 6 months until i can afford some nice kei's

training wheels i think they will be refered to

haha... learner drivers shouldnt be allowed rims

although they were already kurbed when i bought the car, so im not that fussed, just a pisher that i smacked it full on tonight. hope it doesnt happen again, they wont be able to take it.

Just went out to assess the damage

Seems one of my brand new tyres has a rip on the lip of the tyre... not big, about 1mm into the tyre (seems theres a protective lip around the tyre which has come apart for about an inch where it hit).

bit off pressure lost, will assess further in the light tomorow.

Hope the tyre isnt a right off, its brand new

I made the mistake of buying an £800.00 set of wheels after about 2 months of having my car, that of which was my first car. They're kerbed quite badly on either front side along with minor rips in the tyres

Doesn't bother me a great deal. Just gives me an excuse to look for new ones.

To fix your wheels (or cover them up) goto CHIPSAWAY. Should be about £30 per wheel.

not a chance of me spending anything on them just yet, give it 6 months or so and i'll buy some new ones... these will do for "training wheels" until then.
