    remap advise????

I have a 1.6 16v sxi mk4 and have done the vectra mods and panel filter and have a remus and magnex back box on.
Is it worth getting a remap??
Will I be able to tell the difference at all or is it not noticeable and shall I just save my £70???
    Any advise please?

£70 doesn't sound very much for a remap. Chipped Uk was £185 on a group buy.

Although I have raised a question regarding this to thorney. Not sure you can remap via the OBD2 port on a 1.6 16v. I think its a good old fashioned super chip. This in mind the super chip will not take into account your mods. But power hike or 10+BHP is always good to put a smile on your face. But for £185 I can think of other things to put a smile on my face.

the 1.6 is remapped using the obd method, i had mine done at courtenay they downloaded a new map from superchips and uploaded it to my car, id say yes it is worth it, i never had my car dyno'd after it was done but it gets rid of that huge flat spot the 1.6 has and drives so much better

The gains from a remap on N/A cars is minimal, but so is every other power mod. A manifold would produce about 5-10bhp more, but for about the same or even more.
