    Car buying advice PLEASE!!

Hello peeps, I need some advice and hope you can help. I need to buy a new car and i've been offered the following - Fiesta 1.3 encore (5 door) Preg (96 Irish plate) one owner from new, 60,200miles, 1yr MOT and 6mths tax. PAS &drivers airbag. Not seen it yet but it's blue, and the seller says it's a lovely car (obviously) He wants £600, is this a good deal? I really don't have a clue but, I need something cheap, cost effective and in reasonable condition for me and the kids.

    All advice much appreciated

Sounds like a decent price Marion, they tend to go for £750+ usually and that is a good mileage and the MOT/tax is a bonus.

I've got a 98 Fiesta Encore and it's been a great little car, very reliable and not bad to drive. Take it for a test drive and just listen for any strange noises, the suspension in particular seems to be more of a weak spot on them according to many. Other than that - very reliable cars.

PAS is a bonus too - my Encore has the bodybuilder steering lol.

£600 seems resoanable esp as has full MOT and with the mileage been good you can always try knock a few quid off when u get there if you decide you want it.
