    Sharkeye fitting help needed

Right, now the bumpers off (had to trim it a bit), i have the sharkeyes in and wired up.

However, the dipped beam is on the bulb nearest the grill, and the actual sharkeye bit only illuminates on full beam. All the wires are in the correct connections, is this the way it is supposed to light up?

I could modify the two plugs to go the other way around, as I thought the whole point of sharkeyes was to have the projector bit doing the dipped beam. However if this is not the case I will leave it as is.

    Anyone know?

The dipped beam should come from the actual sharkeye, the sidelight will come on nearest the grill at the bottom and on full beam sharkeye, sidelight, and full beam should all light.

Bit difficult to describe without pictures, but I hope this helps.

Cheers Alfa, you really helped out today. Right, I also have to fit the levelling motors apparently, hopefully its not too difficult. This is a right pain in the arse of a job.

If you look at the colour of the wires inside the shark eyes you can see which ones go to the outer and inner lamps, Lee has answered the rest.

Fitting the leveling motors is easy enough, a bit fiddly if the lights are fitted in the car though.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!

Thanks for the help chaps - just fitted them and correctly levelled them too. Motors were easy to change as I had them out the car. Thanks again for the help
