thats what I thought but there seems to be a lack for sale in my area (60mile radius)

Obviously its going to cost more from a dealer, but for the spec I've listed above, how much would you expect to pay?

Isn't that a tad optomistic Danny?

GSi's seem to hold reasonable money these days especially with those low miles.

Coupes were more new, around £19k base IIRC, they seem to go around the £8k mark for similar age, maybe slightly more with low miles

It's not too overpriced imo, I would aim to pay around £8500 for a mint GSi now.

for the time of the year 7.5k/8k would be ok
as in jan its 1 year older also looks good on his books if its a Big garage this is a slow time of year for car sales
all down to if they need to sell the cars

I know some on that buys cars for a Big dealers an he gets them at silly prices

The thing is its an urban myth this time of year car values drop substancially.

Like someone mentioned GSi's are holding their values and one with that low millage will always command more money.

    7-7.5k thats sri money

I would say a fair price for a dealer is 8.5-9k as I went to a Vauxhall dealer and saw a 04 GSi with 40k miles for 10495 on the forecourt.

The going rate for a mint GSi in the private market is 8k for an average one to 9k for a minter.

I've been looking for one for a while and this is what I base my info on.

i would say have a look around the price what i would pay is less as i just give a mate my shopping list +£100 for buying it an he gets it at a lot less then Book

this time of year is not the best to buy an sell cars well its better to buy buy
as most people have spend a lot on xmas
seen a few Mint SriT turn up going for 4.75k silly money dont know what the dealer put it up for
