    How do I find out what colour my car is?

    Theres a lot of scratches I need to repair on my car, I know it's black, but I also know theres a few different "types" of blacks.

    check on the drivers door slam- a black sticker with a code on the bottom - should be in the format Z20R or similar - post on here and Ill tell ya

    open the drivers door and its on the left - under the lock mechanism (slam/shut is the door frame - where the door shuts. not on the door but the frame - u cant miss it - go and see - its easier than explaining!

    youll have the colour code then the trim code

    eg. Z20R XXCJ

    If u ever need to get some spray paint to DIY it - please dont go to Halfords!! The paint mixing monkeys there are crap and think that adding a bit of this and a bit of that is good enough!

    Twin packs (colour & lacquer) can be bought from Vx main dealers for a little over £6 a pack. The colour match can not be faulted 1 little bit.

    XXDP = Trim code (ie colour/design etc of fabric on seats/trim)
