Insurance companies that do like for like parts replacement?

My insurance is up for renewal on the 29/12...great timing

Anyways I'm with Adrian Flux at the moment and just had the renewal form come through over the weekend....my premium has gone from £787 to £1400

So what I wanna know is what other insurance companies you guys use that will replace parts on a like for like basis if the worse happens (again).

    Cheers peeps.

When i needed to use my insurance i was with HIC.

However Adrian Flux have bought them out, so the premium wouldn't be much different.

I've used others in the past, but the cheap quote has alway been from those two companies.

ecarinsurance.co.uk they do like for like replacement, obviously as long as you declare the parts. Best way i think of doing this is to do it how ffoeg does it, a full spec sheet a pictures.

    Well the plot thickens....

HIC wanted over £2500 to insure the coupe....think I'll give that a miss.

However....with some haggling Adrian Flux have come down to £1040, plus my SP30 didn't make any difference so thats a result.

Looks like I'll be sticking with Flux after all.

    Very strange there JC.

Saying that when HIC rang me this year, i told them i'd had a quote from Flux and they couldn't put the phone down quick enough.

    Good deal tho.

I'll have to haggle next year.

When I was talking to HIC the guy on the phone asked me who I was with so I said Flux, he said....to be honest they're better than us so you should stick with them

Still looking at the best part of £400 a year to insure my ICE though
