    888 coupe wheels problems??

i have recently bought a set of scottyboy and am now looking to fit them, i presumed they would have been the same fitment as all vx wheels but after giving them a clean up they are ET 38 which is quite abit off the standard vx 17's will this cause me any problems? and they are 8" rims so what is the smallest tyre i can run? the 235 are a little to big for what i want

888 arches are trimmed back to accommodate the wider wheels & tyres so they will probably catch on a standard arch.

They fit fine on a hatch - Glenn Yale has them on his GSI and has no problems that I am aware of.

In fact the 888 was spaced to increase the track (as I found out when I had my brake upgrade), and the arches were cut to accomodate the extended bodykit (front).

You could pobably get away with 225 tyres, but I wouldn't recommend it.

dont think you'll get away with 215, thats more for 7" wheel
What is cross posting? Is it when you get angry and post it on a forum?

215s on an 8" rim will look with that stretched look - BUT will offer little to no protection for potential kerbing . Therefore if u value ur new 888 rims you'd be seriously ill advised to fit 215 rubber. 225 at the very least here.
