THis has been sat in my shed for ages waiting for me to finsh it, was never intending to tbh as I have a new engine to put in.
But I didnt expect a feature and being my engine bay is missing most things as the have either been took of ready for the conversion ect.
So I have finshed it now.
Basically I have cut out the recess in the engine cover fixed a perspex panel to it and mounted a stainless plate to the engine. a blue light will back light it to give the engine a glow from the rocker cover.
Ignore the paint job it aint perfect, but I wont be keeping this on for long onlt for its feature then it will go with the engine.
I got this idea from a german zafira that was posted up around 2-3 years ago I think and looked good then. got started but the cover just sat in the shed for a long time.
Only problem I have is the stainless plate is to small as it wa ment to be used for the smaller of the recess, but I could get the perspex to mount nicley so I had to cut out the whole recess. So I need to make a second plate a little bigger or find a old mirror to mount the stanless on to as it was laser cut for me a long time ago.
