Lightbulb I'm going to buy a Civic Type-R! (next year)

Hi. Next year i was going to keep my Astra and buy another Ford Puma (and do it up to the extreme) but now... after a long hard think... i've decided that a Civic Type-R will be a better choice... so i will probaly be selling my Astra sometime next year (there is a really small chance that i'll be able to keep it, or i might sell it to my Dad, so i can still drive it!). A Civic Type-R is one of my dream cars, so i'm gonna go for it and get one. Just thought i'd let you all know...

if you wait for the new Type r to come out in the first 1/4 of 2007 the price of old shape ones should come down.

PS: fit a supercharger to it.

If your not over 21 then, well good luck. Your gonna pay £2k easy, and if u get 3pts then most places wont insure u.

I was lucky to get insured on an Astra Coupe Turbo when I was 20, but it was only a group 15. The current CTR is a group 17 so I cant see the new one being any different.

Their nice cars but, their slow in everyday use imo. It's only when the revs get upto 5000rpm that it comes to life, and if u wanna live ur life at that rev range, you'll see 3pts+ quite quickly.

PS: IMO this is a completely pointless topic.

you'd be suprised at insurance companies...they want just under a grand off me at 21 for a T5 240bhp beast!!! but £2500 for a SRi-T

type-R is a vvvvvtechliciously nice car you will enjoy it!

I had a quote on a CTR at 17 for £2500 which i didnt think was too bad.

I drove one, but for an everyday car its a big NO NO, for a weekend/second car then yes its perfect.
