    Blue Dash Legality?

I've seen the how to and a few pictures of blue dash's, but I was just wondering what the legality of this is?

Also, what about neons in the footwell?

    Cheers!

That's what I was thinking. I've currently got some in my Ford Ka and not had problems. I just thought the dash would be more obviously seen outside the car then footwells.

    Cheers!

The footwells may cause you problems... since any light inside the car reduces your ability to see what's going on outside the car when it's dark.

And you can be done by the Police for that!!!

if your linking them to the interior light for when the doors open then its just like having interior lights down at your feet, personally this would be the only way i would wire these up

I had footwell LEDs in my old car wired into my head unit as the HU lights came on with the sidelights, therefore they came on with sidelights and i also had a seperate switch to cut them off completely.
