I will say one thing. make sure you buy the right stuff! I spent ages on my lights, I got a factory gloss finish with the laquer, it was great! they looked just like coupe GSI tinted lights

but now after 6 months the tint spray i used has faded, and my rear lights are practically blue especially the reverse ones and look awful....

Get a bodyshop to do them with a tinted laquer

Thats what mine were done with and still look the same as when they were first done

when you guys send bits to a bodyshop, do you not use your car? or buy cheap standard ones to fill the gap in the mean-time??

How long would a bodyshop need plastic parts for to paint/lacquer and sufficiently harden before it could be re-fitted??

I gave them a spare set of lights so they could take their time and not rush them.

surely baking plastic parts isn't a good thing

does that mean putting ones done at home in the oven on a low temp would have the same effect??
