    Mud Flaps or not

should i get some VXL mudflaps for my coupe? any one got a pic of a silver coupe with them fitted?

I'm guessing the car will stay a bit cleaner?

    Cheers

rizo, do a search for MikeWarner... he has a silver coupe with mudflaps.

Ive got a red coupe with mudflaps and boy do they keep the coupe alot cleaner. Have a look here for pics: http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...ouple%20Mar06/

This maybe useful if you decide to get mudflaps for you coupe:

yeah youve gotta trim them... personally i dont understand why vaux made them so long/big.... even with standard spring they would hit speed bumps especially those plastic ones they have in car parks.

I've dropped the coupe on 30mm eibachs and ive trimmed the mudflaps 30mm too but i still hit big speed bumps... although all this can be a bit annoying I think the mudflaps look good and definatley serve their purpose

to spray them might be a problem because the plastic will flex and the paint will flake, would look sweet though!

you can get plastic primer which will allow the paint to flex and therefore not flake.

Plastic primer won't flex enough for the material that mudflaps are made off - you need a very special paint for those. Normal plastic primer/paint will crack and flake eventually
