    Pet insurance

    Having had a friend of ours encur MASSIVE vet bills for there dog we have decided to get our Springer Spaniel insured.

    Ive been on Tesco to get some prices, does anyone recommend anyone else to have a look at?

    The cat's covered under PetPlan. Unlike some, they cover chronic conditions for the life of the animal - so if your dog gets eg. diabetes, provided you were covered when s/he was diagnosed and you keep up the premiums, you're covered for every bit of treatment needed.


    Doesn't stop her costing us a fortune for the flea & worm treatment & vaccinations though, and you can't cover against them. Bless her little cat-fur socks.

    Got my springer with Direct line, and my brother has his staff under churchill, both good companys.

    We have our pet insurance with DirectLine. I dont know how their prices compare with others but when it comes to claim, (and we've got to claim a lot!!) there's no problems at all. They're really nice and helpful.
