    removing boot lock

    well has the title says really but was wondering does it need to be on for MOT purposes and could ii use flush fit bonnet pins to hold it shut like the norris designs evo? many thanks sim.

    you don't need to be able to open the boot for the MOT...

    except to check the spare wheel IIRC - I know you don't have to have one, but if you do think it needs to be road safe.

    fit a solenoid boot popper inside and you're sorted!!
    0-60 in 6.5 secs and 48mpg- winner!
