    Z20LET sandwich plate help!

right i need pictures and loads of help hear..

i have had the plate fitted for a month now and had nothing but problems with it for 2 weeks now!

the drive shaft or stearing arm(no sure what it is really) keeps hitting the senders.. the only place thats feesable for the pressure unit to go is next to the two bolts abouve the the oil filter..right at the top.

so far i have tryed 5 diff positions for the temp unit and pressure unit.. broken 2 temps and masively dented pressure one today..

also it managed to damage the lefthand bolt seal and i have had 4 hours of trying to fing the problem in the pissing cold and dark!

this is driving me feckin nutts!

and just to make things even more annoying the rubber seal on the plate has broken!

right had a look this morning and there is a few drips of oil on ground but nothing compaired to yesterdays carry on!

    after a night of options.

    1. buy a 1/8 NPT T connector wich should earching the net and bugging a few peoples brains the solution we have come up with is one of these two allow me to fit the pressure sender on the right hand side of sandwich plate, which in theorie should mean there is feck all for it to be hit buy as the angle from the T connector will direct away from chassis leg and sump etc.

    or

    2. Buy a section of braided hose with both male and female 1/8 NPT thread connections on it which would allow me to fit the sender away from the plate all together and cable tie it away out of any danger.

    so

    opinions guys!

this must have happend to more than me.

    I'd go with 1.

I managed to fit the oil pressure sender on the right hand side without a connector but it's a very tight fit and I'm going to add an adapter at some point to give it a bit more room.

I found out the hard way but found a solution

Use a T piece and then you can fit the fit the sender on the other side. it is tight but nothing touches
