    Dashboard progress

Some pics of the dash so far.....

    This last week.....

    progress this week...

Bit worried about how close the screen is to the heater controls - so they might need a bit of modding when I come to fit it. You can also see because of the biggest screen that I could find to fit - the top will need a bit of flushing, not sure how it will turn out yet.

hey man, looking good so far, just a warning incase you forget or dont notice...

but i did this mod to my dash a while back, (screen broke afterwards so complete waste of time in the end but... will be redoing soon) but when you go to put it back into the dash. between the din slot and the heater vents on the center console, traced to the dash (on your car main dash, not center console) there is a thin metal bar coated in black that normally slot inbetween din and vents, if your screen is to think it will hit this and not go in properly, or if you lose your temper like i did then the screen pops out the f-ing front and you have to start over...

you can cut this bar out with a j-hacksaw doesnt really do much which is wat i did...

just incase you didnt notice, dont want you to pu t in loads of hard work then woont go in...

best of luck, hope this helps...

Body filler mate - then smoothed and filled again and again a few times, some plastic primer filler, then final coat primer and a few top coats - although here in china I can't get Europa so I'll have to have it and the other parts of the dash resprayed when I get it back to the uk.
