    aquarium peeps using fuval filters......

is yours really noisey???? i cleaned mine out and the magnet with the fin on dropped out, only held in by magnetic force, and since it has been really loud, i can only see it being the two stops, on on the propeller and one on the magnet hitting causing the noise so i was going to use a small blob of araldite to stop it but worried if the aralidite may upset the fish or even kill them??? shouldnt do once its set thou should it???

Used to have one, the only time it got noisey was when the filter needed cleaning, kept telling my 4 year old son to clean it as it was his fish but he never got round to it
Every time i did clean it i always popped the magnet/fin out anyway, sometimes if it didn't sit correct back in it was noisey, just take it apart and put back together again, also get a cotton wool bud and clean the hole where the water comes out as it gets blocked easily with fish poo

Sure it's not an airlock? One of mine is a noisy bugger for a few hours as it gets a little bit of air stuck in it. It eventually clears after a few attempts at turning the whole filter sideways to bleed the air out.

Agreed, I used to work in a pet shop and always had some of the plastic fans bit in stock to replace them.

If you have already cleaned it out (the hole where the propeller sits) then I would recommend getting a new propeller thingy
